Hound & Crumb brings together two parts of founder Adia Shanee’s life that have been there for decades: dogs and food.
After more than 20 years working professionally with dogs and years after graduating from culinary school she finally brought those worlds together to create something she hadn’t been able to find anywhere else.

IT STARTED WITH THE DOG.
Hound & Crumb wasn’t created by taking a human café and figuring out how to let dogs inside.
It started with a different question:
What would a bakery + café look like if the dog were the customer from the very beginning?
That question shaped everything from what comes out of the kitchen to how dogs experience the space.
Fresh bakery offerings. House-made broths. Bowls built for dogs. Frozen favorites. Celebration cakes. Experiences designed around the dogs enjoying them.

MEET THE FOUNDER
Adia Shanee
Adia has spent more than 20 years working professionally with dogs, building a career centered on canine behavior, wellness, and the relationship between dogs and the people who love them.
But long before Hound & Crumb, there was another part of her story: food.
A graduate of the Pennsylvania Culinary Institute Le Cordon Bleu and certified in canine nutrition, Adia has always loved cooking. Hound & Crumb became the place where those two parts of her life could finally exist together.
Her belief is simple:
What dogs eat matters and so does how they feel.
